One of Ariana Grande’s throwback tweets from 13 years ago has resurfaced following her Wicked success.
Now fans have been sent into a right spiral ever since the film released in cinemas last month with many gushing over just how incredible Grande and her co-stars' performances were.
For many of the actors, being cast in the hit musical adaptation was a dream come true, but this was quite literally the case for Grande who gushed about the character she would go on to play over a decade back.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this year (6 June), Grande opened up about landing the role of Glinda the Good Witch and just how much it meant to her.

After doing some digging, Fallon rejigged Grande's memory to a tweet she posted way back when in the early days of social media.
"I found a tweet that you put out in 2011 by the way," Fallon said as he held up a card showing the pop star's throwback post.
The tweet in question, which was posted back in 2011, reads: "Loved seeing Wicked again... amazing production! Made me realise again how badly I want 2 play Glinda at some point in my life! #DreamRole."

"You did it!" the host beamed, prompting the 31-year-old to explain: "It’s just so surreal to see, of course, the response. You know, this is something that Cynthia and I lived every single day. The brilliant Cynthia Erivo.
"And you know it was ours for so long and it was just every single day for such a long time."
The 'Side to Side' singer added that the support she and Erivo have received from fans has been 'really overwhelming'.

"But the funniest thing is people saying, 'it must be so weird to see it with all the VFX now, isn’t that weird?'" she said. "And I’m like, 'Well yes, they did add some flying monkeys and some animals, but these were really practical sets that we were so blessed to be a part of. Nathan [Crowley] designed these incredible sets and spent months and months building them.'"
Grande added: "So what you’re seeing is where we got to be for two years. It was just so special."
Talking about the first time she ever saw the hit musical, Grande previously told Deadline: "My first time seeing Wicked, I was 10 years old, and I am so lucky. I got to see the original Broadway cast.
"I just remember my life changing and knowing my life in two chapters: before seeing Wicked and after seeing Wicked."
