A couple welcomed rare quadruplets including two sets of identical twins earlier this year.
Michael and Hannah Carmack planned to have a second child but little did they know there would be four bundles of joy heading their way.

The family’s fortunes changed when Hannah, a 29-year-old veterinary technician, had her first pregnancy scan.
She noticed two sacs on the screen and immediately knew that the family would be having more than just the one child they planned to have, but thought she was having twins.
Speaking to Today, Michael recalled the moment his ‘rock star’ wife discovered she was carrying four children which led to her shedding a few tears.
Michael said: “She was like, ‘Twins?’ But the ultrasound tech didn’t respond. Then Hannah goes, ‘Is it three?’

"Then the ultrasound tech put her hand on Hannah’s knee and said, ‘Sweetie, it’s four.’ I started laughing. Hannah started to cry.”
The odds of having spontaneous quadruplets happens between 1 in 512,000 to 1 in 677,000, according to the Journal of Family and Reproductive Health, which means the couple’s new babies are incredibly rare.
Michael, who works as a drug rehabilitation counsellor, said he always wanted to have a ‘big family’ however ‘that wasn’t Hannah’s dream’.
The parents-of-five met with their pastor after having the scan where they discussed how they were feeling about expanding their family from three to seven.

“What I think Hannah came to realize is, ‘This is not normal. We had been chosen for something by God,” Michael explained.
Hannah gave birth to the four babies on 14 March via caesarean section at the UAB Women and Infants Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She welcomed identical twin girls named Evelyn and Adeline and identical twin boys, David and Daniel. They were born at 27 weeks gestation and they were due in June.
The couple are parents to eight-year-old daughter Emily who is now a big sister to four little ones.

The babies need help with eating but are able to breathe on their own. They are expected to stay in hospital until their technical due date next month.
In addition to getting used to caring for four babies, the Carmacks are currently remodelling their 1,200-square-foot home and have started a GoFundMe to help with the costs.
There’s not long left to go until all seven are under the same roof!
