A woman has revealed how she was rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis - but just two days later, she came home with her baby daughter.
Kayla, 21, who goes by @kaylanicolesimpson, explained that she had been a sophomore at college, when she had attended a party one evening.

"Nine months later, I went to the hospital thinking I had appendicitis,” she said on TikTok.
Kayla explained that initially, doctors didn't know what the problem was but decided to do an ultrasound to investigate further.
"While they were doing an ultrasound my mom saw something familiar on the screen," Kayla continued.
“Seconds later, I started screaming in pain and the doctor ran in... It was a head!"

Kayla welcomed a baby girl - much to her shock - and later shared a Q&A video where she answered some of the most common questions, including whether she had a period or not and if she had been on any kind of contraception.
She also shared a photo of herself six months pregnant - with no bump to be seen.
“Did I have my period all nine months? I did,” she said. “It would be the normal four to five days."

While ovulating during pregnancy is not possible - and therefore an actual menstrual period cannot occur - many women can experience spotting.
Kayla added that she was not on birth control and she hadn't been drinking and partying during the pregnancy. She also explained that the little one's dad is very much in her life and they have a 'great situation'.
Sharing a photo from during her pregnancy, Kayla added: “I had no stomach, I’d lost 30 pounds and I was the skinniest I’d ever been.
“As you can see, there’s nothing there.”

Kayla also explained that she had been with her mum in the hospital while she was giving birth, adding that she had been texting her dad the whole time.
Sharing screengrabs of the messages, Kayla's dad was in total shock as her mum sent a photo of his new granddaughter just moments after she arrived.
And other TikTokers were totally shook by Kayla's experience, with many of them saying it was their 'biggest fear'.

“Thank you for sharing your story that just happened to me (my baby boy turns one month today!) but I thought I was the only one in the world that this happened to!" said another.
