It's often said that if you've got it, you should flaunt it, and one bikini model has been praised after getting married in a white thong.
Karina Irby, 32, a swimwear designer from Australia's Gold Coast, recently tied the knot with her partner of eight years, Ryan Jones, in the paradise island of Bora Bora - and it was her outfit that really got people talking.
Irby is no stranger to having all eyes on her, as she regularly shares her 'real' bikini pictures on Instagram in a bid to promote body confidence to her 1.2 million followers.

Sharing a picture of herself kissing her new husband after their wedding, she wrote on 2 November: "Just married… island style!"
"And it couldn't have been more perfect," she added. "Marrying your best friend in one of the most beautiful places on the planet."
The picture was part of a montage from the couple's big day, which revealed that Irby got married in a white, bridal two-piece that was covered with a bandeau top and sheer sarong.

The whole look was topped off with a stunning flower crown that her new husband also sported.
As reported by the New York Post, the happy couple arrived for their big day in a canoe before getting married on the beach in a private ceremony.
They went on to have a reception and fireworks display as they celebrated taking the next step in their relationship, but people couldn't help but comment on Irby's thong.

"I f**king LOVE that you got married in a bikini!" wrote a second fan while a third added: "You look amazing, love that you wore this for your day."
"A skimpy little congrats to you both!" remarked a fourth fan of the beachwear. "You looked incredible."
"I wouldn’t have expected anything less, that wedding was you through & through!" praised a fifth.

Discussing why the pair didn't get married in Australia, Irby wrote on Instagram: "Ryan and I chose to elope in our fave tropical destination, Bora Bora.
"This was a hard decision for us to make, but after 3 years of trying to plan a wedding at home it felt like this was truly meant to be."
What do you think of the designer's outfit? Would you dare to bear on your big day?
