Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants are all making the same joke after finding out who the voice actor is married to.
This is a TV show that we all know and love and probably spent countless hours watching as kids.
SpongeBob focuses on an actual sponge who is called (you guessed it) SpongeBob and follows his life as he navigates working as a burger boy at the Krabby Patty diner with his friend, Patrick Star and begrudging co-worker Squidward being privy to his many shenanigans.

Let’s not forget his pet, Gary the Snail too, Sandy and many others who make running appearances.
…like Plankton, the plankton with a massive grudge against Mr Krabs (SpongeBob’s employer), the Krabby Patty and SpongeBob himself.
For decades we have watched as the tiny sea creature has schemed against the establishment in a bid to take home the ultimate secret… the krabby patty burger recipe.

Tucked away in his laboratory with his computer wife, Plankton has been trying to get this recipe to no avail, even trying to trick SpongeBob into giving it up.
But the sponge wouldn’t talk.
Anyway, news broke that the voice actor has a wife… and now fans are all making the same joke.
Film Seal posted an Instagram post sharing who SpongeBob actor Tom Kenny's wife is and fans of the show are shocked.

The post read: “Did you know this?
“Tom Kenny (SpongeBob) and Jill Talley (Plankton’s Computer Wife Karen) have been married since 1996. They met on the comedy sketch show The Edge in 1992.”
From there, people began to joke about the reason begin Plankton’s long hatred towards SpongeBob, and it’s apparently because he stole his wife.

One person wrote: “No wonder Plankton doesn't like SpongeBob.”
Another commented: “Plankton is not going to like the sound of this!”
Someone else joked: “Not only did he have the secret patty recipe, but also the secret recipe to her heart... plankton maaad.”
Talley is an actress and comedian who voices Karen Plankton on SpongeBob SquarePants and has been married to Kenny since 1996.

Talley also voiced Sarah Dubois on The Boondocks and she has also featured in The Loud House, The Patrick Star Show, Puppy Dog Pals, Wacky Races, Human Kind Of, and American Dad!
Kenny and Talley have two kids together, including a son named Mack Kenny and a daughter named Nora Kenny.
They welcomed Mack, their first child, in 1997, followed Nora in 2003.
Hilariously, when the news broke that Ariana Grande was dating Ethan Slater, who played SpongeBob in the musical, Talley cleared things up online, writing: “Hi everyone, I'm married to Tom Kenny (who voices SpongeBob on the TV show). He is not dating Ariana Grande. I don't know if Ethan Slater (who played SpongeBob in the musical) is or isn't dating Ariana Grande.
“However, they're both adorable and I totally ship it. Just wanted to set the record straight.”
