Cassie Luycx - the older sister of deceased killer Brian Laundrie, who murdered his fiancée Gabby Petito in 2021 - has revealed that she no longer speaks to her parents.
Gabby Petito was an American vlogger who posted content about her, and fiancé Brian's, 'van life' on YouTube.
During a cross-country trip in August 2021, the 22-year-old went missing.
Alarm bells were raised when Brian returned from the trip alone and refused to speak to Gabby's family and police about her disappearance.

Almost a month after she was reported as missing, on 19 September 2021, Gabby's remains were discovered in a National Forest in Wyoming. An autopsy report confirmed that her cause of death was homicide by 'blunt-force injuries to the head and neck with manual strangulation.'
After police issued a warrant for Brian's arrest, he disappeared. His body was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. In a journal entry found next to his body, he admitted to killing his fiancée.
Following the release of Netflix documentary series American Murder: Gabby Petito on Monday (17 February) - which includes interviews from family and friends, as well as Gabby's personal texts and journal entries - Brian Laundrie's older sister, Cassie Luycx, has spoken out about the case and her estranged relationship with her parents.

At the time of Gabby's disappearance, Brian's parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, repeatedly refused to cooperate with authorities and of being aware of the 22-year-old's murder.
The Laundries fell under intense scrutiny by those who believed they were withholding vital information about the case, with Gabby's mother Nicole Schmidt later calling Roberta 'evil'.
However, Cassie has always maintained that she cooperated with police and that when she met with Brian on 1 and 6 September 2021, she was unaware that there were concerns for Gabby's welfare.
She has always denied withholding any important information that could've helped Gabby's body to be found sooner.

Cassie has been largely quiet since the Netflix documentary about her brother's crime aired, but has confirmed on Instagram this week that she's been 'non-contact with [her] parents for almost two years'.
"If you’re new here. And just starting to attack me today. I’ve been non contact with my parents for almost two years. Have fun," she penned.
This comes after Cassie was filmed outside her home by media outlet NewsNation in the aftermath of Gabby's death. In footage that was later uploaded to YouTube, she said: "We are just as upset, frustrated and heartbroken as everybody else."
