Justin Timberlake has pleaded guilty to impaired driving today (13 September), following his June arrest in New York’s Hamptons on a driving while intoxicated charge.
The presiding judge handed the 'Cry Me A River' singer a fine of $500 (£380) along with a $260-dollar surcharge (£198), and 25 hours of community service at a non-profit of his choice.
Speaking during the proceeding, Timberlake said: "I did not live up to the standards that I try to hold for myself.

Following his arrest, a statement seen by the PA news agency stated that police pulled Timberlake over in a 2025 BMW for driving through a stop sign in Sag Harbor, an affluent village in the Hamptons, as well as failing to stay within the lines of the road.
Descriptions of the singer said his eyes were 'bloodshot and glassy', as well as having a 'strong odour of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath'.
The papers added: "He was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardised field sobriety tests."

Timberlake addressed his arrest during a couple of shows during his 'Everything I Thought I Was' tour.
Footage captured from concertgoers showed Timberlake asking his Boston TD Garden crowd: "Is there anyone here that is driving, no I'm just kidding."
On 28 June, he told his Chicago crowd: "It's been a tough week.
"I know I'm hard to love sometimes but you keep loving me right back."

Following his arrest, sources told Page Six that the police who arrested Timberlake were 'so young' they 'didn’t even know' who the hitmaker was.
Apparently, Timberlake told officers 'under his breath' that his arrest would 'ruin the tour'.
They asked in reply, 'what tour?'.
