A lip reader has revealed the five-word question Kate Middleton asked a little girl during her rare public appearance at Westminster Abbey.
Earlier this week on Monday (10 March), the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Commonwealth Day service alongside other members of the Royal Family including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Kate's appearance comes a couple months after her announcement earlier this year (14 January) that she is in 'remission' from cancer following her absence last year after the 43-year-old revealed that she'd be taking a temporary break from the public eye after receiving her cancer diagnosis.
One clip of the mum-of-three circulating on social media shows the mum-of-three, who was donning a hot pink gown designed by Catherine Walker and a hat by Gina Foster, leave Westminster before being greeted by a young girl who was waiting outside with a bouquet of flowers in hand.

Kate bent down to receive the flowers before having a short conversation with the girl and shaking her hand.
The interaction melted hearts on social media, with one X user writing: "Pure happiness on these kids' faces."
Another said: "I’ve always thought Kate had a special interaction with kids. I think she could have been a teacher if she wasn’t a royal."
And now, expert lip reader Jeremy Freeman has exclusively told Tyla what he reckons the pair chatted about.

According to Jeremy, Kate began the exchange beaming: "Oh hello, thank you…so what’s your name?"

Kate then acknowledged her by name, asking: "Did you go to the service?"
The child then replied 'yeah' before Kate asked: "Did you enjoy it?"

Similarly, the girl then echoed her previous 'yeah' response.
"Thank you very much," Kate replied, before asking a sweet five-word question: "Can I shake your hand?"
William's conversation on the other hard was 'very hard to follow', but Jeremy reckons 'it’s along the lines of' him asking: "Are you missing school today?"
"Yes," a girl, different from the first, responded prompting William to exclaim: "Ah!"

According to Jeremy, William then possibly asked about the service and where was she in the abbey to which the girl dressed in red would have explained where she was sat.
Before the service of commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, King Charles paid tribute to the 'sacrifice and selflessness' of Commonwealth forces.
Ahead of the service, protesters from the anti-monarchy group, Republic, held up placards reading 'not my King' and 'down with the Crown' as they gathered outside the abbey.
