The second instalment to 365 Days has recently hit Netflix. And fans don’t seem to be happy about the Christmas scene - which is worlds away from what happened in the book

The steamy follow-up film, 365 Days: This Day, is a sequel to the erotic thriller, which was adapted from the book trilogy by Polish author Blanka Lipińska.
If your mind has gone blank from the copious amounts of sex in the first film, the plot sees Massimo kidnapping Laura - a woman he encountered five years ago on the day his father was murdered - while she's on holiday in Italy in a bid to save her failing relationship.
In the follow-up movie, Massimo gifted Laura with her very own fashion company, while Laura gifted him ‘something I know you should like’. Yep, it’s sex.

However, in the book, Massimo got a very different Christmas present from Laura.
In the book series, Laura was pregnant with Massimo’s child, and on Christmas day, she told him she was expecting a boy - “which is what he wanted because it would be his heir,” one Twitter user explained.
Elsewhere on the social media site, fans despaired over the change of plot in the movie.

Meanwhile, another backed Laura’s gift-giving decision for her husband, writing: “It’s the way Massimo in 365 Days gifted Laura her own fashion business for Christmas, and she gave him sex as a gift.
“P***y IS a gift. It’s the way she has mansions, cars, private jets all cause of him, and the best gift to him is just her lmaoo. A man.”
