Rebel Wilson left viewers feeling embarrassed after she made an “awkward” joke about Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith while hosting the 2022 BAFTAS.

Will Smith won the BAFTA for Best Film Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams in the critically acclaimed biopic King Richard.

The former Fresh Prince star was unable to collect his award in person because the Smiths were attending the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, which were also held last night.
Rebel Wilson made a cheeky joke about the Smiths’ relationship following the news they have an open marriage and it left people watching at home in a state of shock.
In 2020, Jada confirmed she had an ‘entanglement’ with R&B singer August Alsina. The spouses were separated at the time.

The revelation caused debates and conversations online about extramarital affairs and open relationships and Jada further addressed her marriage and relationship with Will during an episode of her Facebook talkshow Red Table Talk.
Last year, Will addressed rumours surrounding their marriage and confirmed he also had a relationship with another woman during his marriage and confirmed the pair actually have an open marriage.
He told British GQ: “Jada had family members that had an unconventional relationship. So she grew up in a way that was very different than how I grew up.
