Netflix users have spotted a minor breakdown of Jacob Elordi's acting when he returned to play heartthrob Noah in The Kissing Booth 3.
Many actors go through years of training to try and make sure they're ready for any job, but no matter how prepared you are, sometimes you just can't stop your real self from shining through.
And for Elordi, this came in the form of his Australian accent. Check it out here:
On the whole, I'd say Elordi managed to pull off an American accent pretty well when he played Joey King's love interest in The Kissing Booth series, which was set in Southern California.

Co-starring alongside King, as well as Joel Courtney who played his brother, Elordi was surrounded by Americans for inspiration in the film, but he stood out among his cast mates as he came from the land Down Under.
The 25-year-old was born in Brisbane, Australia, but now lives in Los Angeles after moving there prior to the first instalment of The Kissing Booth.
He then went on to land the role of Nate Jacobs in Euphoria; a job which kept him in the US, but didn't do much to help him transition wholly to an American accent when it came time to return to the role of Noah in the third Kissing Booth movie.

I'd say his character remains American for a good 98 percent of the movie, but of course, it was that two percent that fans picked up on while watching.
One viewer recorded the scene where Elordi's accent pops through, catching it as Noah and Elle discussed their future.
It came through strongest after Elle argued that she knows 'what's best' for her, with Elordi proving unmistakably Australian as he replied: "No, you do."
Hugely entertained by the appearance of his accent, the person behind the camera shared it on TikTok, writing: "The best part of this entire movie franchise was when Jacob Elordi's Australian accent snuck through editing."

And the TikToker wasn't the only one to catch the slip, with another taking to Twitter to write: "All my favorite scenes from the Kissing Booth 3 are when Jacob Elordi randomly talks in his Australian accent."
Elordi might not have had the accent totally down, but that didn't exactly do anything to stop fans falling in love with both him and his character.
In fact, his accent only made some fans like him more, as one said: "I love Jacob Elordi so much as Noah, Kissing Booth [is] one of my favorites, you cant get any better, love his real Australian accent."
