On Monday (1 August), fans rejoiced after Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022.

The news was also celebrated on the show's official account, which tweeted: "One Italian stallion, one Turkish delight, so many unforgettable moments… Ekin-Su and Davide are your #LoveIsland 2022 winners!"

Ekin-Su and Davide's love story was far from a simple one, with the pair having a rocky time to begin with after Ekin-Su's head turned for newcomer Jay.

This resulted in hilarious scenes of Ekin-Su and Jay sneaking around together on the terrace before Davide called her a 'liar and an actress' - resulting in a lot of memes.

But they managed to find their way back to each other and by the end of the show admitted that they were in love. We love to see it!
