From Hayley Hughes believing Essex is a continent to Belle Hassan asking if Scotland and England were in the same country, islanders truly have delivered some absolute clangers throughout their years in the Love Island villa. Ah, the memories.
And now, it appears as if Indiyah Pollock is the latest contestant to be added to the long list of epic slip-ups after she asked Dami Hope whether ‘there are shopping centres’ in Ireland. Watch below:
In a first look for Thursday (30 June) night’s show, the couple are seen enjoying a brunch date among their fellow islanders after Wednesday night’s recoupling when Dubliner Dami admits he can’t wait to get the 23-year-old over to Ireland.

He enthusiastically declares: “I just can't wait for you to come to Ireland”.
To which Indiyah replies: “Really? Is there, like, um, shopping centres down there?”
We think Dami’s expression says it all. We can only live in hope that part of the conversation was edited out for mere entertainment value for the teaser.
But for those that may not be aware, our neighbours across the Irish sea do indeed have shopping centres and the first one was opened way back in 1966 in Stillorgan, Dublin.

Understandably, the teaser has gone down like a lead balloon mainly among the Irish diaspora online, who questioned if she thought the Emerald Isle was just a ‘field’ but overall, many couldn’t help but laugh at the comment.
Taking to Twitter, one penned: “Not Indiyah thinking Ireland is located in the heart of the Zamunda forest”.
“We actually don't have shopping centres in Ireland, Indiyah. We just hunt for all of our food and sew all our clothes. We don't even have phones and we use a horse and cart to travel around the country,” another fumed.

A third tweeted: “Indiyah babe we don’t live on fields Ireland isn’t just fields”.
"Nah Indiyah sis thinks Ireland is one big forest in the mountains I’m done,” a viewer wrote alongside several cry-laughing face emojis.
A fan added: “Does Ireland have shopping centres? Indiyah babes don’t kill me”.

“Not our Girl Indiyah asking Dami if there are any Shopping Centres in Ireland,” a sixth shared.
Another added: “Dami's reaction to Indiyah's question about if there's shopping centres in Ireland is so relatable”.
