This article contains spoilers for Brazen...
If you watched Netflix film Brazen - currently in the top 10 list on the streaming platform - this weekend, you may have been left with mixed feelings.
The movie, which stars Alyssa Milano, is adapted from the novel Brazen Virtue by Nora Roberts, and focuses on Grace Miller, a crime author whose sister - school teacher Kathleen - is brutally murdered in her bedroom.
You can watch the trailer below:
The film follows Grace as she helps detectives uncover the mystery, before anyone else gets hurt. And there's even a bit of romance in there too, as Grace ends up dating one of the detectives on the case.
It sounds like it has all the aspects of a thrilling whodunnit, but some viewers admitted they were left a little underwhelmed by some aspects of the plot.
However, despite this, they admitted to being 'gripped' to the film until the end, in a bid to find out who really killed Kathleen.
One person wrote: "#Brazen on Netflix…so bad it’s good!"
While another said: "Next up on movie night, I’m watching #Brazen on @netflix - @Alyssa_Milano and the cast are amazing. It’s a really easy watch & enjoyable. My one problem - I called the killer from the second they entered the screen."
And a third added: "Even though I knew who the killer was from about like 37mins in, I still enjoyed the movie #Brazen."
Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Just finished #Brazen with @Alyssa_Milano. Good murder mystery, but I'm left wanting more of the lead couple. They had great chemistry. Plus a crime author and a detective has a lot of potential for a whodunit type spin off or series."
And a fifth said: "So this movie. #Brazen with #AlyssaMilano tooooooo much corny-ness, it's hard to finish this movie without laughing and/or yelling at the TV.
"He actually said, 'once is not going to be enuf' [sic] as they're about to have sex."
Others did love the movie, however, with some even asking if a sequel would be on the way.
You can catch Brazen over on Netflix now.
