April persuaded Jake to go on the show, much to his disdain, and she spoke openly about wanting to get married as well as her fertility issues and her desire to become a mum.
Jake eventually coupled up with Rae Williams, 24, and after expressing that he didn't feel like his needs were addressed during their relationship, his relationship with April ended for good.

April and Jake both confirmed that they tried to give their relationship another shot once filming wrapped, but it simply was not meant to be.
When asked about her relationship status during the reunion episode, April confirmed that she's now seeing someone new.
She kept her new "serious" boyfriend's identity a secret and simply said that he was "older" and had already moved in with him in Austin, Texas.

Thankfully, April has spilled all the tea for fans of the show on Instagram. Her new beau is Cody Cooper, a 30-year-old real estate broker who co-owns a vape company.
April dedicated her heartwarming post to Cody, writing: “Thank you for being YOU. Thank you for being the most amazing man, boyfriend, partner & best friend I could ever ask for. I love you, I respect you & I adore you for a million things.”
She goes on to reveal that she fell in love with Cody because he’s “persistent” and said breaking her foot on their second date - yes, really - is one of her favourite memories.
