Made In Chelsea star and DJ Ashley James has opened up about everything she had in mind when it came time to choose a name for her newborn daughter.
Ashley, 35, welcomed her youngest child with her partner, Tommy, who she's been with for more than four years.
The couple already share a two-year-old boy together, named Alfie, but they grew their family by one earlier this month with the arrival of their daughter at St Thomas's Hospital in London.

"Seeing her for the first time was surreal," Ashley told Hello! "And I definitely did have that 'love at first sight' feeling, which I didn't have with Alfie, probably because of how traumatic it was. I was very excited but mainly just grateful she was okay."
The mum welcomed her daughter via caesarean section, which had been planned for the day when the baby was 39 weeks.
Ashley and Tommy took inspiration from elements of both of their own lives when it came to choosing a name for the little one, and they eventually settled on a first name along with two middle names: Ada Isabella Blue Andrews.

The first name came from both Ada's dad, and the name of an inspiring woman.
Ashley said: "We thought Ada was a really beautiful name and I was also inspired by Ada Lovelace, who was a famous mathematician and scientist. She was hailed as inventing computer programming and Tommy works in tech, so we liked that link."
The name Isabella came from Ashley's grandmother, who she described as an 'amazing woman', while Blue took inspiration from Ada's older brother.

"We chose Blue because Alfie's middle name is Rivers and I love water references," Ashley said.
Both she and Tommy were 'really emotional' when the newborn arrived into the world, and she recalled how Ada stopped crying the moment staff put her on her chest.
"It was like 'Oh, she recognises her mummy'," Ashley said.
Ada has been celebrated by the whole family, with Alfie having been 'amazing' with his new little sister.

Ashley also admitted their son has been 'a lot better than [they] thought because typically he prefers older kids', and added: "He'll give her lots of cuddles and kisses and keeps saying 'baby sister'.
"We have to be a bit careful because he's quite over enthusiastic but he has shown her so much love."
Following the arrival of Ada, the mum shared a snap of her holding her daughter's hand on Instagram, writing: "Just wanted to let you know that our baby girl is here. We are both happy and healthy and we're all so in love. We're taking some time to enjoy this newborn bubble and connect as a family of 4."
