Harry Styles as a bearded merman with octopus tentacles might not be what Stylers were expecting, but that's exactly what they've got with a surreal new music video.
The three-minute vid for Music For A Sushi Restaurant sees the pop superstar, 28, being discovered by a group of chefs working in a remote town and carried to their kitchen.
Initially fearing he will be eaten, Styles embarks on a career as a singer and eventually puts on a live performance backed by a brass section of blokes with prawn heads.

And while the music video’s bizarre content has gained praise, it's Styles' beard that's really got tongues wagging.
One fan wrote: "Seeing Harry Styles with a beard is so triggering I do not want to watch that mv."
Another seemed rather into the facial hair by writing: "I'm already a massive simp for harry styles but him w that beard in the MFASR video."

One person, quite rightly, simply wondered how such a thick mane had grown so quickly.
"Brooo how did you grow a beard that quick?," they said.
Styles recently spoke about what inspired the song while chatting with NPR.
He said: "I was in a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles with my producer and one of our songs came on from the last album' noting that he thought it was a strange thing to hear in a sushi restaurant.

"And then I was like – that would be a really fun album title, but then as the song started being made I kind of just set on Music for a Sushi Restaurant."
The tune is the third single from his recent number one album Harry’s House.
