Khloe Kardashian teases the name of her son and it appears to be sweet nod to Tristan Thompson

Khloe Kardashian has had far from an easy relationship with ex Tristan Thompson.

The reality star, 38, now has two children with the basketball player, 31, who has been notoriously unfaithful to her.

But despite his repeat infidelity - the most famous example of which was with Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend Jordyn Woods - Khloe appears to be paying tribute to him with their son's name.

Khloe made the revelation during the latest episode of The Kardashians, when she explained that she was finally getting around to naming her son, who was born in July via a surrogate.

The reality star told her mum Kris Jenner: "It is going to start with a T.

"I mean, that's really the only names I've been looking at."

In response to this revelation - which appears to be a nod to Khloe's son's father - Kris proceeded to suggest some potential T names including Tyler and Tucker.

"We could name him Travis and then just have an easy three," Kris joked, referring to Kourtney's husband, Travis Barker, and Kylie Jenner's baby daddy Travis Scott.

"Oh my gosh," Khloe said in response to this suggestion. "I guess we can cross Travis off the list then, right?"

Khloe has described her son as 'a beautiful gift' and said he represents a new start in her life after Tristan's repeat infidelity came to light shortly before his birth.

The basketball player also had a child with Maralee Nichols, a personal trainer and allegedly one-time only lover.

"Ever since December, it's been this dark cloud looming over me every single day," Khloe said of her reaction to the infidelity. "I've been feeling depressed and sad and now that my son is here, I get to move on and I get to enjoy."

The reality star said that she is now trying to put the 'trauma' of what she has been through to bed and live her best life with her children.

"Now, I finally get to start the healing process. Now, I finally get to start enjoying my life with two kids now and figuring this out," she said.

Khloe's son's name has yet to be officially announced, so she may well decide against a T name, but for the time being, at least, it seems like a likely bet.

However, given that Kylie Jenner did change her son's name from Wolf to an undisclosed new name, anything is possible.
