It can be tough starting a new job and many of us will feel for Maya Jama, after the new Love Island host made a massive mistake during the series’ semi finale.
The 28-year-old host accidentally revealed who’d been dumped from the island, before it was officially announced on air.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the radio DJ then went on to make the same mistake in a video she uploaded to her Instagram stories (spoilers ahead obviously).
It’s the first series she’s hosted since taking over from Laura Whitmore last year and having scored the biggest presenting gig on TV, she’s been keen to impress ITV executives.

While fans have been loving her bubbly persona and swoon worthy outfits, they’ve been quick to criticise Maya Jama for the major mistake.
Some even took to Twitter, sharing that their thoughts about the unintended reveal with one person writing: “Someone at ITV is getting fired tonight.”
The initial mistake came during an advert for Aftersun, the spin-off show where newly dumped contestants reflect on their time in the South African villa.

As Jama teased the follow-up to the main show, she told fans: “Join me tonight in South Africa live from the villa. Dumped Islanders Will and Jessie and Casey and Rosie will be sharing the goss.”
As Will Young and Jessie Wynter smiled for the camera alongside previous contestants Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook.
Moments later, another major mistake would happen.

Jama shared a story on her Instagram of the TikTok farmer and the Aussie waiter looking, umm, deflated as the contestants gather round the pool.
Both incidents happened mere minutes before the live on-air reveal and ITV have yet to release a statement about the accidental reveal.
Tyla has contacted ITV and Maya Jama's representatives for a comment.

Nevertheless, former Islanders Young and Wynter did speak about their shock exit from the villa as many fans had expected them to make it to the series final.
Despite Tanya and Shaq being grilled over their Casa Amour antics, they felt it was time for the young farmer and his girlfriend to leave Love Island as they failed to get the public vote.
Though he began the series in the villa, Young would leave just a week before the final telling fans that it was a very ‘sad time’.
He explained: “Starting right at the beginning and almost making it to the end, you're a little bit sad.

"However, I feel like I've found what I'm looking for in Jessie and made some lovely best friends along the way, too.”
However, he did admit that he was happy to be leaving with his new girlfriend and that she would be joining him back in the UK to help with lambing season.
