As much fun as Instagram can be, it's grim receiving messages you don't want to see.

The reality star took to Instagram to issue a statement about lewd images that had come her way.

Writing on her Instagram story, the TLC star said: "Listen people, I personally [find it] disgusting and disrespectful for anyone to send me any kind of nudes.
"I don't wanna see any[one] without clothes, I don't care if you're on Google and a half naked man [is] on it and it said it's Kentucky.
"Idc [I don't care] dude, I don't know them and I also have kids around me.

"What happens if I open a message and [there] is a nudes? I just [ask] please be respectful, thank you."
Tammy and her sister Amy rose to fame in 2020 on the TLC show which documented their weight loss journey.
Since coming on the air, the sisters have appeared in six series and 58 episodes together.

Along the way, they've shed some significant weight.
It would appear that Tammy's followers are trying to set her up with a man now that she's lost weight.
And given that the sisters live in Dixon, Kentucky, it would seem that some people are trying to locate her a man in the state.
Not that the 38-year-old is interested - certainly if those photos reveal a lot of flesh.

But even if a scantily clad man from Kentucky isn't on the cards just yet, life has changed in many other ways for Tammy.
Since she shed more than 500 pounds, she has seen a huge difference - not having to use a wheelchair anymore being just one example.
In a confessional for her show, Tammy said: "Now that I've lost so much weight, I'm able to do things that I never would have been able to do.

"I think people do take the small things for granted. Being able to cross your legs and put your shoes on... I'm able to sit comfortably on the toilet, I've never been able to do that.
"The only problem is this excess skin is out of control."
The issue with the excess skin is that it makes some places prone to infection.
She explained: "I get rashes under my stomach and that can get infected. And even though my mobility has gotten better, I kind of have to walk a little bow-legged because it's dangling right there."
