A heartbreaking 2023 confession made by Adele about her divorce from husband Simon Konecki has resurfaced online as the singer's Las Vegas concert stint comes to an end.
The couple - who share an 11-year-old son, Angelo - called time on their marriage back in 2019, after having tied the knot in secret the previous year.

Their divorce was finalised in 2021, with Adele, 35, going on to date - and possible marry - sports agent Rich Paul.
And though the 'Rolling In The Deep' hitmaker initially retained her privacy on the breakdown of her marriage to Konecki, it wasn't until a catch-up with long-time pal James Corden that fans were finally given a glimpse into what sparked their split.
Adele appeared on Corden's The Late Late Show in July 2023, where - during an appearance on the show's Carpool Karaoke segment - she thanked the TV star and his wife, Julia, for supporting her and her family, after she went on holiday with them in the months after her break-up.
"We were on our way home and my mood had changed and it was like the first year that I felt like I had to hold myself accountable, for just being an adult, whereas the year before that I left Simon, that you and Jules and the kids were so integral in looking after me and Angelo," the singer reminisced.

"You used to do it with humour as well, you used to be like, 'good luck with that one!' with any sort of thing that I was pursuing, and you were always so, you were like an adult with me, you and Julia would always give me this advice."
The singer also went on to make a rather unexpected confession regarding just how much she'd relied on James and his family, revealing that her hit song 'I Drink Wine' was written following a telephone call the showbiz pals had enjoyed in 2020 - a year after her split was announced.
She said: "[The verse] was inspired by a conversation that you and I had, and it was the 4th of January, 2020 or something."

"And we'd been on vacation together with the kids."
The resurfaced clip comes just weeks after Adele opened up on her decision to quit drinking after claiming she realised she'd become a 'borderline alcoholic'.
In October last year, she told fans she'd forced herself to go cold-turkey altogether when it came to drinking, as she was finding it hard to balance booze with performing night after night.

Speaking to her audience at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace as her Vegas residency was coming to an end, she confessed: "I stopped drinking maybe like three and a half months ago."
The 'Chasing Pavements' hitmaker added: "It’s boring. I mean, I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much."
