Planning the perfect gender reveal is never easy, especially if you want to stand out from the crowd.
However, one couple marked the occasion in an extra special way, by enlisting the help of Adele during her Las Vegas residency.
Taking a break from her usual heart-breaking ballads, the 35-year-old joined in the emotional moment and even burst into tears.

The happy announcement was on behalf of Chris Dare and Shantelle Lord, who attended a recent concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Prior to the big gig, a doctor had given the couple a letter with their unborn baby's gender six weeks ago but they’d waited to make the reveal.
Eager to meet the pop idol, they’d even snuck a special sign into the venue which asked Adele to help them celebrate.

It read: “Adele, will you do our gender reveal?”
Not only was the Brit-award winner impressed with their efforts, but she also admitted to being a little ‘obsessed' with them.
After calling the couple forward, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer told them: “No one’s really allowed signs in here. I’m just obsessed that you got one in.”
Rather sweetly, Adele then asked if there was anything she could do to make the moment extra magical for them.

“I’m just honoured that you’re going to do this for us,” Lord replied. “We’ve known since 12 weeks and we have been waiting for this moment.”
Sitting beside them, the singer got comfortable and even took her shoes off before being handed the all-important paper, telling the audience: “Shantelle and Chris are having a baby… boy!”
It was after this that the ballad maker became a little emotional.

As the couple celebrated and hugged, the singer told them: “That was amazing, I’m so happy for you.”
She then burst into tears as she shared in their joy, saying: “That’s so emotional, oh my god.”
“If and when I get pregnant, will you do my gender reveal? At the shower, I’ll have you back and you can do it,” Adele added during the Vegas show.
It’s unsurprising that she became so overwhelmed, as she had earlier revealed that she’d never done a gender reveal.

The mum-of-one has said she’s eager to have more kids, after welcoming son Angelo a decade ago.
Last year, she told Desert Island Discs: “I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I’ve got Angelo. I just want to be happy.”
We can only imagine how amazing her gender reveal would be.
