After being in a relationship for nearly a decade and sharing two children, Macaulay Culkin 'just wants to know' why he and Brenda Song aren't married yet - and her answer was very honest.
Let's face it - weddings aren't for everyone. They're ludicrously expensive, can take several years to plan, and usually last just a few hours.
However, for Song and Culkin, who've been together since 2017, it seems like an obvious question as to why the two aren't married yet despite being engaged for three years.

In a recent tell-all interview with Cosmopolitan, the star asked his wife-to-be: "Do you not want to marry me?"
Making sure not to put his foot in it, he then followed up with: "I’m fine if we don’t, I just want to know."
Brenda replied: "We talked about eloping. But I was like, ‘If we eloped, my mom would have a heart attack that she wasn’t going to be there..."

"I wouldn’t even!," he added.
Brenda, 36, and Macaulay, 44, were both child stars, with Macaulay famously portraying Kevin in the first and second Home Alone films, while Brenda was on Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody alongside Cole and Dylan Sprouse, as well as a few Disney Channel Movies, like Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior.
The couple also share two sons together - Dakota, 3, and two-year-old Carson.
And way before the two actors had ever met, it seems like they were both on the same wavelength when it came to what they'd like to call their future kids.

While on a trip, the two were having a 'what if' conversation, they told the outlet.
The topic shifted into having children, and Brenda mentioned that if she ever had kids she would want their name to be genderless, like Dakota.
Taken aback by the suggestion, Macaulay noted that he wanted to call his first child Dakota in memory of his sister, Dakota Culkin, who'd tragically died after being hit by a car in 2008.

She was just 29 at the time, and had moved to LA to pursue a career in film production, according to PEOPLE.
Her death hit the family hard, according to Dakota and Macaulay's brother, Kieran Culkin.
Kieran told CBS Sunday Morning (via PEOPLE): "I only knew who I was because of who my siblings are. So, to lose one was losing a big piece of myself."
Her friend, Andrea Poe, said that Dakota and Macaulay were 'very close', adding: "They would talk frequently on the phone or go out to eat."
