Ashton Kutcher has revealed his children, a son and daughter, are parented differently as a result of 'toxic masculinity'.
The Two and a Half Men star married Mila Kunis in 2015, many years after their first meeting on the set of That 70's Show, which premiered in 1998.
The pair share two children; a daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, and a son, Dimitri Portwood.

In a recent episode of podcast The Throwbacks, Kutcher admitted the two get different parental treatment - and he's more protective of his daughter.
He admitted there's probably some 'toxic masculinity' at play.
During the episode, he added: "My son, I’m always like, ‘Yeah, let’s go for it’. Like yesterday, we’re popping wheelies on a bicycle in the driveway or it’s like, ‘See if you can jump down four stairs,’” he explained, before adding that when it comes to his daughter, he has the feeling of 'I just want to protect her'.

“When my son cries, I’m like, ‘All right, what did we learn? Let’s move on,’” he said. “But when my daughter cries, my heart is out of my body and I can’t put it back in.”
He then added that his wife is the same - but the opposite way round.
He explained: "She’s very strict on our daughter and a gush ball with our son. I think we balance each other that way.”
Earlier in the interview, Ashton claimed he was overcome when his daughter, the eldest of his two children, was born.

“I don’t know if it equates to being a girl dad or it equates to her being my first, but when I had my daughter, I had never been so in love in my entire life.
“Mila and I talked about it a lot. Like, I’ve never loved anyone this much. Ever.”
The two are no stranger to making headlines.
Appearing on Dax Shephard's popular Armchair Expert podcast back in 2021, the acting pair opened up about their hygiene habits - or lack of.

Shepard kicked off a debate with co-host Monica Padman by stating: "You should not be getting rid of all the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day."
Kunis then chimed in to let the world know she agreed.
She said: "I don't wash my body with soap every day. But I wash pits and t**s and holes and soles."

Padman then appeared dumbfounded, asking: "I can't believe I'm in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?"
Kutcher then leapt to his wife's defence, saying: "When I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't the parent that bathed my newborns - ever.
"That's how we feel about our children. We're like, 'Oof, something smells.'"
The actor then concluded: "Here's the thing - if you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em.
"Otherwise, there's no point."
Can't see it catching on, but fair enough I suppose.
