I'm A Celebrity winner Danny Jones has issued a statement in response to speculation that he and co-star Maura Higgins shared a kiss at this year's BRIT Awards.
A video of the pair - who famously met on the 2024 instalment of the hit jungle reality TV series - went viral online earlier this month (Sat 1 Mar), appearing to show the on-screen pair cosying up to one another at the music ceremony.
Danny also celebrated his 39th birthday on the night in question, after which he and Maura were spotted at the star-studded Universal afterparty.

It was there that they were said to have locked lips.
Reports also alleged that the duo were later seen together at 180 House on The Strand, and drank wine together at a further Sony party that stretched on until the early hours of the morning. They failed to address the controversial kiss in the days that followed - though, both have since been active on social media.
For those in need of a reminder, the duo became firm favourites on Ant and Dec's star-studded ITV show, with the Manchester-born McFly singer going on to be crowned 'King of the Jungle'.

Whilst Love Island alum Maura, 34, is said to have split from TOWIE star Pete Wicks following the conclusion of the series, Danny has been married to wife Georgia Horsley since 2014. Following the shock kiss, former pageant star Georgia spent several weeks away from the online world, with Danny following in suit.
On Tuesday (11 Mar), however, she shared a photograph of their seven-year-old son Cooper - a post that Danny did not engage with.
The following day, the 'Obviously' hit-maker also resumed sharing content, re-sharing a number of gushy birthday posts.
Taking to Instagram today, however, the musician has now apologised for not responding to the scandal sooner, claiming he's 'taken some time out to be with those closest to me'.

Danny then apologised to his wife and his family 'for putting them in this situation', adding 'we'll continue to deal with this privately'.
"Hello everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me," the 39-year-old's social media message began.

"I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.

"I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately."
The father-of-one concluded his message by adding: "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny."
Maura is yet to comment on the controversy.
