Love Island's Jess Gale finally breaks silence on what really happened with Callum Jones split

Love Island's Jess Gale finally breaks silence on what really happened with Callum Jones split

Love Island: All Stars couple Jess Gale and Callum Jones apparently had a public row at a party

Speculation has been rife regarding the relationship status of Love Island: All Stars couple Jess Gale and Callum Jones since they departed from the iconic ITV villa in second place earlier this year.

And this week, bombshell twin Jess had lifted the lid on what really went down between the couple following their public nightclub spat last month.

For those unfamiliar with the duo's tumultuous romantic journey, allow me to refresh your mind...

Despite having first met on the debut winter series of Love Island back in 2020, the duo went on to find love with several of their other castmates.

Back then, Jess left the show early with then-beau Ched Uzor, whilst Callum fell head over heels for fellow Mancunian Molly Smith, whom he embarked on a three-year relationship with until their split last summer.

When Callum and Jess - and his ex Molly (eek!) - were reunited on the All Stars version of the hit dating show in January, however, their friendship soon developed into something deeper.

The happy couple left the show in second place, after losing out to Molly and her new hunk Tom Clare, from the winter 2023 series.

In the months following the show's dramatic conclusion, however, all eyes have been on this year's couples, with fans curious to know which duo will last the longest on the outside world.

While Molly and Tom's romance appears to have gone from strength to strength - with the pair often filming TikToks and sharing sweet social media snaps together - Jess and Callum's fling looked for some time to have turned rather stale.

So much so, that - according to The Sun - the pair became embroiled in a heated row at a party earlier this month, leaving some to wonder if they'd broken up.

Apparently, that's because they've done just that - and actually, Jess has now revealed that they'd called time on their relationship just five weeks after leaving the villa.

Breaking her silence on the split in conversation with the Daily Mail, the blonde bombshell admitted she was 'very happy to draw the line' on their romance after she 'found something out' that triggered their highly-publicised row.

"Me and Callum are not speaking anymore," she confessed. "I’ve not said anything, well I haven’t spoke to him in ages actually.

"I found out something prior to the event which I addressed [with him] and obviously it was a very public event, with a lot of people there so things got out."

Jess insisted, however, that their split had nothing to do with their public spat.

"It wasn’t a blazing row it was just a conversation," she recalls. "And then from then onwards we decided we aren’t going to speak anymore.

"Well I decided [to break-up] because there was no way that could have happened after that.

"After that we spoke a little bit but it’s definitely not a thing anymore. I am very happy to just draw the line with that anymore."

The reality star went on to insist that she and the former scaffolder had 'tried to make it work on the outside', but revealed that this was too difficult.

"It wasn’t anything to do with Molly [Smith] as much as anyone would like to speculate. It was just, yeah like, I was a bit shocked, I wasn’t expecting it.

"I’m just going to focus on myself from now on."
