Davina McCall's partner Michael Douglas has provided an update on the television presenter's health, just days after she revealed she'd been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The former Big Brother host, 57, broke the news of her diagnosis on social media last week (15 November), announcing in a pre-recorded video that she’d recently undergone a complimentary health scan.
Davina told her followers: "Hi, so I’m posting this it will be Friday morning. I’m posting it because a few months ago I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare.

"Three in a million! So I slightly put my head in the sand for a while, and then I saw quite a few neurosurgeons, I got lots of opinions. I realised that I have to get it taken out."
Davina went on to explain that she was informed my medics at the time that her 14mm-wide tumour was benign, but that doctors would be attempting to remove the mass in the following days.
Adding that 'it would be bad' if it continued to grow, she continued: "It will be removed via a craniotomy - they go through the top of my head here, and through the two halves of my brain to the middle, get the cyst, empty it, take it out, and Bob’s your uncle,” she said. “So say a prayer for me. I am in good spirits.”
Despite believing she was going to 'ace' it, fans of the TV star have since been left concerned about her wellbeing.
