Following reports that she and her Married At First Sight UK co-star Jordan Gayle had gone their separate ways, Erica Roberts has broken her silence, shutting down rumours of a 'toxic' breakup.
The duo first met on the hit E4 dating series last year after joining the line-up later down the line.
However, according to a report by the Daily Mail, Sheffield-born personal trainer Jordan and social media manager Erica suffered 'months of bitter fallouts' since the series came to an end in November.

So much so, that their romance allegedly 'turned toxic', and watching the emotional reunion episode together earlier this week - which aired on Monday night - painful memories were quickly conjured up for the on-screen couple.
A source close to the reality TV couple is said to have told the news outlet that Erica was the one to call off their romance.
"[She] ended her marriage with Jordan," they claimed. "She did everything possible to make it work but sadly they struggled and in the end, she had no choice but to give up.

"Jordan can be hotheaded and Erica's looking for someone who's a bit more laidback so in the end it was a constant personality clash."
The source continued: "Of course, both parties are upset and didn't want this to be how their story ended but also in the long-term, it's better for them both to move on."
Despite these claims, Erica has now broken her silence, confirming their break-up while shutting down rumours that the split was anything but amicable.
"It's disappointing that Jordan and I weren't able to share this on our own terms due to the press leak," she penned on social media in an Instagram statement.

"But we would just like to confirm that we are no longer together."
Erica went on: "This hasn't been an easy decision for us both as we really wanted to make our relationship work.
"I truly wish him all the best and there is no bad blood between us."
Jordan is yet to comment on the split.

During the most recent instalment of MAFS, he and Erica were filmed yelling across the room at one another over their differences, so much so that their co-star Adrienne Naylor was forced to intervene.
And, while appearing on the much-loved dating show, Jordan was accused of cheating on Erica during a heated dinner-party altercation.
Around the same time, the Daily Mail released a photo of him getting into a taxi following a night out along with another woman.

But Jordan subsequently refuted the allegations, telling the Mail: "The accusation of me cheating on Erica is 100 percent false and clearly coming from someone who has a malicious agenda to try and ruin our relationship."
