Helen Skelton has announced a massive career change as she lands a new TV role.
The former Blue Peter presenter, 40, is currently gearing up to return to children’s TV but in the most unexpected way.
Skelton, who has graced our screens on Countryfile and Strictly Come Dancing will be using only her voice this time around.

The star is taking on the role of Annie Morris in the new version of Fireman Sam. The iconic children’s TV show returns for a new series soon and Helen’s character will be a key member with her new character set to be a farmer.
Mum-of-three Helen is overjoyed about her new role and revealed that her children are massive fans of the cartoon.
Helen, who quit her BBC 5 Live job earlier this year, shared: "I'm thrilled to be a part of the Fireman Sam family and lend my voice to the spirited character of Farmer Annie Morris. This series is packed with adventures and important life lessons for kids, and I can't wait for everyone to see it."

The former Strictly Come Dancing is mum to children Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and 19-month-old daughter Elsie. They will see their mum feature in all 26 episodes of the 15th series of Fireman Sam, which will return to our screens on Saturday (21 October).
Helen has also broken her silence on her split from husband Richie Myler, having spoken out in her new autobiography In My Stride
She separated from rugby star Richie in April last year after tying the knot back in 2013 – going on to have three children together.

She announced the split via Instagram, saying: “Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
“We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.”
She added two broken heart emojis.
It was later revealed that Richie’s girlfriend, Stephanie Thirkill, was pregnant with their first child, who arrived in March this year.

She speaks about how she was in ‘shock’ following the split, having not long given birth to youngest child Elsie.
“I was in shock,” she says.
“I know that following break-ups, people often say they didn’t see it coming and it sounds like a cliche, but that was me.”
