Jennifer Lopez was left seriously stunned after an interviewer made a pretty shocking comment about her age.
Over the weekend (15 December), the 'Ain't Your Mama' singer rocked up to the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, Unstoppable, when the interviewer asked her the question about her age.
At the event, Variety’s Senior Awards Editor, Clayton Davis, praised Lopez and her decade-spanning career before mentioning her age and made a remark no one was expecting.
Davis joked that the 55-year-old award-winning pop icon was 'getting up there' as she would soon be celebrating her milestone 60th birthday.

One clip obtained by TMZ, the interviewer looked back on Lopez's filmography, namely pointing to her role in the 1997 biopic about the legendary Mexican-American singer, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, titled Selena.
"I can't believe it's been 30 years since Selena. I can't believe that in 30 years we're going to do a retrospective of this, and you will be 60 by then, which is..." the interviewer said, while Lopez said 'wow'.
Someone off-camera could be heard saying 'did he just say that?' while Lopez handled the situation like a pro.

Responding to the age comment, the mum-of-two said: "What a journey this has been and I honestly feel that the best is yet to come.
"I honestly feel that my creativity and who I am as an artist is like you said... I also feel that this for me, was another kind of level of going deeper into who I am as a person or as an artist."
She continued: "And these type of roles change you. They come to you at times in your life when you need them, and they help you grow and they heal you in a way."
Lopez filed for divorce from her ex-husband Ben Affleck after just two years of marriage, with the official date of their separation reportedly being noted as 26 April, 2024.

She has previously discussed just how 'intense' this year has been following the split and working on Unstoppable - which is produced by Affleck's company, Artists Equity.
She's also opened up about why she's now counting down the days until she can enjoy some quality time over Christmas with her two children, 16-year-old twins, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Max Muñiz, who she shares with her ex, Marc Anthony.
Speaking to People, Lopez revealed: "It was a pretty intense year for me and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast."

She added: "The holidays are such a special time for us and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories."
Describing the festive period as an occasion to 'slow down' and 'enjoy' being together, Lopez admitted she and her family 'don’t get to see each other all year'.
"So we kind of catch up on what everybody’s doing and how life is. It’s just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it," she explained.
"I love all of the decorations and the hot chocolate and the music and the food, and I'm one of those people who really tries to make it out of a storybook for my kids with all of those things. I'm a sucker for the holidays."
