Whilst some fans were seemingly blindsided by the news that Jennifer Lopez has divorced Ben Affleck after just two years of marriage, others claim they saw the split coming from a mile off.
And it turns out, it you review the former couple's behaviour over the last year or so, there are arguably several tell-tale signs that trouble was brewing in paradise.

If you're an OG fan of the former Hollywood power duo, you'll know that this is far from their first attempt at a relationship with one another.
Jennifer, 55, and Ben, 52, previously dated all the way back in the early noughties, before going their separate ways in 2004.
While the 'Jenny From The Block' singer went on to marry three other times - including life-long friend Marc Anthony, with whom she welcomed twins - Gone Girl actor Ben wed Jennifer Garner, with the couple welcoming three children of their own.
Their respective romances weren't to be, however, and back in 2022, fans were delighted to learn that Jennifer and Ben had rekindled their love affair.

The pair exchanged vows twice in the months that followed - first in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, and next in a second ceremony in Georgia just a month later.
Sadly, however, as we say, the musician filed for divorce yesterday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court following several signs of a split...
Solo appearances
Earlier this year, mother-of-two Jennifer - who has previously been married three times - triggered talk of a break-up when she rocked up to the star-studded Met Gala in New York totally solo.

Two months later, Jennifer was seen holidaying in Italy separately from her hubby, and opted not to wear her wedding ring on 4th of July weekend, which she also spent alone.
Fans also noticed that Ben wasn't in attendance for the premiere of his wife's Netflix movie Atlas in Mexico - where she sensationally responded directly to divorce rumours when asked by a reporter.
"You know better than that," she warned at the time.
Social media moves
Though the couple ceaselessly remained hard-faced on their split speculation, their respective social media antics hinted at relationship issues.

Back in March, Jennifer liked an Instagram post about romantic red flags, which read: "You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves. We can’t expect someone to see us when we can’t even see themselves."
The message continued: "Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing & fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling, it’s action."
Back on the anniversary of their first wedding back in July, J.Lo failed to deliver a gushy post about her hubby, which she'd done the year prior.

And during her Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday party last month - pictures of which were spread all over social media - Ben was pictured in Los Angeles.
Different takes on romance
Speaking on Jennifer's Amazon Prime documentary series The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Ben previously shared his thoughts on the importance of privacy in relationships.
"I had a very firm sense of boundaries initially around the press while Jen I don't think objected to it in the way I did," he said at the time.
"I very much did object to it."
He also added how 'against' social media he is, a value which Jennifer clearly doesn't share.
"Getting back together, I said, 'Listen, one of the things I don't want is a relationship on social media,'" he added.
"And then I sort of realized it's not a fair thing to ask. It's sort of like you're gonna marry a boat captain and you go, 'Well, I don't like the water.' We're just two people with kind of different approaches trying to learn to compromise."
Living apart
Last month, 'Bennifer' were also reported to have put their 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California mansion on the market for $68,000,000.
