Jimmy Kimmel has shared that he thinks Will Smith should have used his slap for a certain celebrity after their X-rated Grammys stunt.
It’s been a while since we’ve all thought about the infamous Will Smith Oscar’s slap, hasn’t it?
This slap was famed, and saw a whole load of backlash go to the A-List actor after he attacked comedian Chris Rock at the Academy Awards in 2022.

There were even rumours that his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith had 'told him to slap Chris Rock', leaving him to share a YouTube video where he answered the question.
The incident saw him be banned from Academy events for 10 years.
The altercation occurred while Chris was presenting the award for Best Documentary Feature and referenced Pinkett Smith’s shaved head - which is due to her suffering from alopecia.

He made a G.I. Jane reference in relation to Jada.
Afterwards, Smith rushed the stage, slapped him and told Rock to: "Keep my wife's name out of your f*cking mouth."
It’s been a while since it happened, but for host, Kimmel, there’s another celebrity who deserves the wrath of Smith.
During his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, on 3 February, the 57-year-old said that Smith should’ve slapped Kanye West at the 2025 Grammy Awards, after his wife, Bianca Censori, wore a see-through dress on the carpet.

“Another rodent came out of his hole to hit the red carpet at the Grammys last night — none other than Kanye West, who showed up to take photos,” said Kimmel. “He showed up for the red carpet only with his wife, who caused quite a stir. She was wearing… nothing.”
As Smith was also at the Grammys with his kids, Willow and Jayden, there was a perfect opportunity for someone else to be slapped.
The host went on to say: “Also on the red carpet at the Grammys last night, Will Smith, who is banned from the Oscars for 10 years. The Grammys, they had him onstage honoring Quincy Jones.”

“And you know what’s a shame? Will Smith, all he had to do was run out on that red carpet and slap Kanye. I think all would be forgiven. He would be hosting the Oscars next year,” Kimmel joked to his audience.
Kimmel said that the barely-there dress was only ‘the ninth craziest thing that happened this week’, recalling: “Remember when the whole country melted down when one of Janet Jackson’s boobs popped out for a millisecond?
“Now a completely nude woman walks the red carpet at the Grammys, they’re yelling, ‘Bianca, over here on the right! Please!'"
Now, Smith probably isn’t looking to slap another celebrity after the backlash he received…

After his infamous slap, Smith sat down and responded to questions about why he didn't apologise to Rock in his acceptance speech, after he won an Oscar for his performance in King Richard.
However, he did go on to apologise to the comedian and members of the Rock family.
In his YouTube video, he said: "So I will say to you, Chris, I apologise to you. My behaviour was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."
He added: "I want to apologise to Chris's mother. I saw an interview that Chris's mother did and, you know, that was one of the things about that moment I just didn't realise, and, you know, I wasn't thinking, but how many people got hurt in that moment. So, I want to apologise to Chris's mother.
"I want to apologise to Chris's family. Specifically, Tony Rock [Chris' younger brother]. You know, we had a great relationship. You know, Tony Rock was my man. And this is probably irreparable."
