Kim Kardashian is facing major backlash over her recent photoshoot with a Tesla robot, with fans rushing to call her out after being 'sick to their stomach'.
The 43-year-old reality TV star, who has regularly used her social media platforms to advocate for human rights, and is currently studying law after expressing her interest in criminal justice reform, took to Instagram over the weekend.
Kim shared a series of snaps with her 357 million followers posing alongside a cybertruck created by Tesla - an automotive company which billionaire Elon Musk is the CEO of.

The photos in question were taken by photographer Steven Klein for Perfect Magazine, and were soon followed up with a montage compilation video featuring clips from the shoot alongside behind-the-scenes footage.
It's clear people were clearly seriously unimpressed with the stunt, with many pointing to the alleged hypocrisy of Kim endorsing the company of Musk, the world's wealthiest man, who is extremely closely aligned with US president Donald Trump.
Trump has made a number of executive orders which directly impact the lives of immigrants, women, the LGBTQ+ community, and many other minorities.

One Instagram user declared: "Never buying Skims again. I’m kinda sick to my stomach rn."
"Done with you and your products," echoed a second, while a third agreed: "BRAND SUICIDE! You’re going to find out real quick that it wasn’t the MAGAs who were purchasing your clothing!"

A fourth hit out: "Girl this is just embarrassing..."

"All that 'I’m a lawyer' BS just to stand & support against American basic human rights being taken away," slammed a fifth, while a sixth chimed in: "And you fight for human rights? Plz."
Another echoed: "Anything for a paycheck, right?"
And a final Instagram user highlighted: "Imagine having unlimited resources, a global platform, and the power to influence millions—only to use it to glorify a billionaire actively making life worse for so many.
"This isn’t just tone-deaf; it’s a deliberate choice to align with greed, exploitation, and performative excess. With everything happening in the world, this is what you find worthy of celebration? Embarrassing."

Kardashian, however, clearly doesn't seem to think the shoot was in any way making a political statement as she told Perfect Magazine: "I think the big joke of me even doing the shoot with the robot is that I feel like I’m so robotic."
Tyla has reached out to Kim Kardashian's representatives for comment on the matter.
