Weeks after Lizzo insisted she hadn't touched the controversial diabetes drug Ozempic in a bid to lose weight, fans of the musician have today rushed to her defence, after she lifted the lid on her healthy new routine.
The 'Good As Hell' singer has been keeping fans in the loop with her weight loss journey for the last several months.

As well as sharing snaps of her newly-trimmed physique, the 36-year-old has been posting workouts and delivering recipes and meal-time inspiration to her colossal fanbase.
Sadly, however, Lizzo - full name Melissa Viviane Jefferson - was recently abashed with accusations about her potentially using the self-administered injection Ozempic as a means of shedding a few pounds.
The FDA-approved prescription drug is intended to assist individuals with Type II diabetes in managing their symptoms, being that it's main ingredient semaglutide reduces appetite and helps to control blood sugar.
But following the multitude of celebrity admissions about misusing the drug as a means of losing weight, a handful of Lizzo's followers alleged that she'd also be dabbling in Ozempic-use.

Thankfully, however, the accusations didn't last long, and in a TikTok video posted last month, the Grammy Award-winning singer shared a clip captioned: "When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit."

In the video, she was seen lip-syncing over the audio of Christoph Waltz's character in Quentin Tarantino's film Django Unchained saying: "It's like a reward."
Tragically, though - despite her insisting to having lost her weight gradually and healthily - the Michigan-born star is seemingly unable to escape criticism over her lifestyle choices.
In a brand new video shared to Instagram yesterday, Lizzo gave fans an insight into her meal-time choices, captioning the clip: "WHAT I EAT IN A DAY - as a former vegan."
Within a matter of minutes, however, the chart-topper was subjected to ceaseless comments about her plant-based claims.

"You realize that you can get plenty of protein as a vegan right?" one disgruntled fan pointed out.
"If you stopped bring vegan, you were never vegan in the first place," another hit out. "Just plant-based. Plant-based is a diet.
"Being vegan is a lifestyle of ethics - doing the best we can to not harm non-human animals and the environment."

A third continued: "Damn. I was hoping this was a joke! This is really disappointing. I thought you cared more about doing the right thing."
As we say, however, hundreds of the 'About Damn Time' hitmaker's fans have since rushed to her defence, telling her haters that she has every right to consume whichever foods she likes.
"Whew these comments... damned if you do damned if you don’t. Glad you feel and look good babes," one thoughtfully penned in response to the criticism.
Another wrote: "Not y’all being mad about someone else’s lifestyle! Go touch some grass!"
"Girl you look amazing!" a third added.
"And this just goes to show that different diets are effective depending on your body type!"
A fourth jibed: "Suddenly everyone’s a nutrition expert & holier than thou in these comments".
