War of the girlfriends is apparently over - and by that, we mean Hailey Bieber this week congratulated 'frenemy' Selena Gomez on the news of her engagement to boyfriend Benny Blanco.
The move - which came as a shock to many followers of the pair's rumoured feud - has now prompted many to wonder whether Selena made a similar one when Hailey announced her pregnancy back in May...

For those out of the loop, while neither Selena nor Hailey have ever publicly confirmed a falling out, it is believed that the A-list duo endure a tense relationship brought on by the latter's marriage to Justin Bieber.
Justin previously dated Selena for several years prior.
Hailey even claimed during a Call Her Daddy podcast appearance earlier this year that it's 'all love' between her and Selena.
That said, however, of all the people we didn't expect to congratulate Selena, Hailey was at the top of our list.

Selena, 32, shared a series of snaps on Instagram from the special day, with one showing a Taco Bell picnic that 36-year-old Benny had arranged, and another showing off a jaw-dropping new marquise diamond ring.
'forever begins now..." the 'Who Says' singer penned in the caption, after which Benny commented: "Hey wait… that’s my wife."
The high-profile messages of congratulations quickly came pouring in, including from Selena's long-time friend Taylor Swift, who wrote, 'Yes I will be the flower girl', as well as Cardi B, Jennifer Aniston, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

It was then that Hailey - who gave birth to she and Justin's first child, a son named Jack in August - chimed in and 'liked' the photo, sending social media users into a frenzy.
Some have since interpreted this as a true sign that the pair are on good terms with one another, with one X user commenting: “We love women supporting women. This made my heart happy."
A second congratulated Hailey on her ‘classy move’, adding: “Wishing her well.”
Others, however, have been looking back on Hailey's latest good news, with some wondering whether Selena congratulated her when she announced her pregnancy earlier this year.

Whilst she didn't explicit issue a direct message to the model, it looked at the time as though Selena had reacted to the news with a social media post of her own.
Following the Biebers' news, the Spring Breakers star took to her own Instagram page where she shared a snap with her now-fiance, and referenced her upcoming cooking show streaming which is available to watch on Max.
I mean, that could mean 'congrats', we suppose?
