Body language expert reveals key sign of Travis Kelce’s feelings as Taylor swift misses first Chiefs game

The status of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship has faced speculation in recent weeks

A body language expert has weighed in after Travis Kelce was spotted looking 'devastated' on the pitch of his latest Chiefs game.

The expert has analysed American football star Travis' most recent public appearances, and believes fans could be correct in suspecting trouble in paradise when it comes to his relationship with Taylor Swift.

For those out of the loop with the rumoured relationship woes between 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker and her NFL beau, last month talk of a 'contract' between the pair - which includes a scheduled 'breakup' - hit headlines all over the world. The contract was later proven to be completely fake, with PR firm Full Scope said to be initiating legal proceedings against the people responsible.

The couple were first romantically linked last summer, though Taylor only went public with Travis in November 2023.

Since then, the pair's relationship has been littered with public shout-outs to one another, declarations of love and lots of PDA.

However, the emergence today of some pretty glum-looking snaps of Travis at his latest Chiefs game - from which Taylor was notably absent - has seen several professional romance readers having their say once again.

Amongst them is Inbaal Honigman, who spoke exclusively to Tyla about her relationship concerns, believing there to be one key sign that something isn't right between the pair.

Discussing the new photographs, she explained: "As Travis sits down, rubbing his face, his expressions come together to show his longing.

"Even inside his big shoulder padding, we can see that his shoulders are dropped, showing sadness."

She continued: "He licks his lips swiftly, telling us he's thinking about someone or something he desires. Then, he glances downwards, his eyes lowered, and his head slightly lowered too, which indicates the emotion of sadness.

"Overall, it would appear that at that moment, his confidence is low because he's missing someone."

Iqbaal's assessment comes just weeks after another body language expert, Darren Stanton, told Tyla that the way Travis was acting during the pair's recent appearance at the US Open was also indicative of their downward spiral.

The 34-year-old musician was enjoying her date with tight-end Travis, also 34, at the sporting event on 8 September.

However, when clips of the two circulated the internet, people believed that Travis was a little distracted.

He was pictured on his phone at various moments throughout the date, often in landscape mode, leading fans to think he was watching something different to a game of tennis.

"The PDA from the pair was very full on for a while, holding hands and kissing in public, but this seems to have decreased as time has gone on. He’s only really trying when she’s looking," Darren previously explained.

"It’s only when she looks at him that he really engages. A lot of the signs that were initially present such as the prolonged eye contact and PDA, the tactile moments that were put out, are no longer appearing as strong or operating on the same level as before."
