Love Island 'axes baby challenge for first time in nine years'.
For nearly the last decade now, Islanders have been dealt the side-splitting task of looking after a whole batch of crying 'babies' for a gruelling 24 hours in the villa.
Historically, the challenge has been quite frankly hilarious with all the chaos and faffing you'd expect a bunch of 20-something to get up to. Check out just one of the many Love Island baby challenge antics here:
Whether that was Molly-Mae Hague - who welcomed real-life baby Bambi into the world in January of this year - when she notoriously told boyfriend Tommy Fury off for flipping the toy tot around in 2019 or when Josh Denzel's baby's arm fell off back in 2018.

However, it seems that era of the hit ITV show has now come to an end once and for all.
After nearly a decade with many fans looking forward to the beloved challenge every summer, it has since been reported that the baby task will not be happening on the show this year.
The news comes as a first for the show which has included the baby challenge in all ten of its seasons.

Fans have since rushed to social media to share their reaction to the recent reports with one Twitter user writing: "No way they canceled the baby challenge so are they about to [sic] have the Islanders beef until the end???"
Many were totally gutted with another posting: "Love Island getting rid of the baby challenge has ruined my day."
"Nooooo I liked the baby challenge," chimed in a third.

"So glad the baby challenge is gone," echoed a second.
A third tweeted: "Praying they don’t do the baby challenge again this season cos I'll genuinely not tune in again until [sic] the final if they do."
A final Love Island fan declared: "PUHLEEZ can they abandon the baby challenge for once?!?! Zero entertainment value and mind numbingly boring." Ouch.
Where do you stand?
