If you've rushed through the first part of the third Bridgerton season and simply can't wait until next month (13 June) then do not fret as there's another cracking series you can sink your teeth into in the interim.
So, for anyone itching for another period drama fix, you're in luck as Bridgerton fans have urged Netflix viewers to watch a 'spectacular' series now that its second season is set to drop later this year.

The steamy German TV show, which dropped on the streaming platform back in 2022, follows Elisabeth von Wittelsbach who falls for and marries her sister's intended love match, Emperor Franz Joseph.
Based on a novel about the real-life Empress of Austria, the drama follows Elisabeth as she enters the Viennese court.
Well, since then, fans of the programme have been begging for Netflix to announce a second season.
And it seems their wishes have finally been granted as it's been confirmed that production on the series started back in autumn last year with Netflix DE confirming that cameras were rolling in late September.

Netflix has now also confirmed in March that the new season will be coming to Netflix in late 2024.
In a statement on Instagram around the time of renewal, Katharina Eyssen, the showrunner of the series said: "I am incredibly grateful that we were able to touch so many different people in Germany and around the world with our series. "The story of Elisabeth’s life is a story of the power of love, but also the courage to be different and the hope for a better future.
"And that’s what we need right now. And that’s why we’re very happy that we can continue to tell this story."
