Frozen was a time in everyone’s life that was immensely PG, until you realise that there was actually a pretty not safe for work joke snuck in here by Kristen Bell.
Bell, who played Anna on the ‘Let it Go’ Disney flick, has revealed her joke which was sneakily included in the song ‘For the First Time in Forever.’
The actress told Vanity Fair about the incident, which saw her character sing lines about finally being free to go on her own journey after spending years alone in her castle.

The 44-year-old didn’t hold back when taking credit for a rude double entendre, which many probably missed while they were singing along during the film.
If you go back and re-watch the song, you’ll probably hear the dirty line instantly.
According to Bell, she wondered how on earth the got ‘that joke in there’ as it ‘slid under the radar’.

She said to the publication in a video published Tuesday (October 15): “It almost didn’t make it in. But then we were like, ‘What are you talking about? That’s not what it means. Don’t be a perv.'”
The Veronica Mars alum shared that she had ‘always’ dreamed of being in a Disney movie before she was handed the role of Anna.
She said: “They’re so formidable in your life when you’re young and I was obsessed with them.
“I remember sitting in my living room and on my little old boombox, like, recording myself singing ‘The Little Mermaid’ in case I ever needed that tape.

“When I finally got the opportunity, I was thrilled.”
So, what did she do when she finally got the chance to be in one? She sang about balls, of course.
Let’s take a peek at the lyrics of one of the most famous songs from the film and see where she snuck in the NSFW joke:

“For years I’ve roamed these empty halls / Why have a ballroom with no balls?”
That’s right, she snuck that one past most people didn’t she?
However, Bell wanted Princess Anna to be different than other characters, and more realistic.
While she explained how she originally thought she’d ‘do anything’ that Disney ‘asked me to’, she soon found that she’d rather take the reins herself.

She said: “But what I should be valiantly striving for is to create a character that I really needed to see when I was 11 years old, which was someone like this character.
“Thankfully, they let me do it.”
Bell explained how she wanted Anna to be the ‘opposite’ of traditional Disney princesses like Belle, Ariel and Snow White.
She said: “I want her to wake up with drool in her mouth. I want her to snore. I want her to talk too much and too fast and wear her heart on her sleeve and trip over things.
“The real quirk for a girl who is lovable but not as put together, and thankfully this whole experience was really collaborative. Some of those things they wrote in, and others they didn’t, and they let me kind of take the reins.”
The franchise wrangled together Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Josh Gad as Olaf, bringing all the star power you can imagine.
After releasing Frozen 2, it’s said that Frozen 3 is due to be released in 2027, however it hasn’t been confirmed by the cast.
Bell said to Jimmy Fallon on his Tonight Show in 2022: “I feel like if we’re all in … what are we waiting for?”
Perhaps we can expect another joke if they do reprise the film.
