Viewers have slammed the audacity of one Married at First Sight contestant who was clearly unhappy with who had been chosen as his bride.
The chaotic but compulsively watchable E4 show, which matches up two complete strangers before having them meet for the very first time to exchange vows at the altar, is no stranger to a heavy dose of drama.
Though it seems in season eight there's even more than usual.

In last night's episode (19 September), Adam Aveling, 33, was matched with Polly Sellman, 28, by the dating experts, Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas.
The pair both said 'I do', though Adam didn't seem to say much to Polly after that - certainly not by way of compliments.
After the nuptials, Polly raved about her new husband.

She said he was 'very attractive', complete with a 'beefy' body and 'nice haircut'.
She admitted: "I do fancy him."
Adam, on the other hand, had different thoughts.
He later told the cameras: "The initial attraction's not 100 percent there. She's not my usual type. 10 out of 10 for me would be petite, brunette, dark features, tan. She's not what I expected."

Polly's best friend, Alfie, spotted the lack of compliments in Polly's direction and asked Adam about it.
In response, he said he usually goes for brunettes, but can appreciate Polly's 'bubbly personality'.
How awkward.

After Polly was filled in on the red flags by Alfie, she started to tear up - but by the end of the episode she seemed resolute in giving things her best shot.
One person wrote on X: "The sheer breathtaking audacity of 4/10 Adam with his ridiculous bowl cut thinking lovely 7/10 Polly isn’t good enough for him as he wants Megan Fox."
A second said: "MAFS UK one of my guilty pleasure shows that I very rarely speak of, but omg after last night's episode, who the hell does Adam think he is?

"He seems to have a very inflated view of himself! Polly is beautiful and down to earth. She the one that was short changed here!"
A third added: "Watching #mafsuk for the first time in forever and my stomach is DROPPING for poor Polly. She's an actual rocket and Adam's not even pretending to be disappointed that they didn't get 'a Michelle Keegan' for him. Be SERIOUS."
Married at First Sight airs every Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4.
