Now that the Bridgerton season 3, part 1 dust has begun to settle, viewers are finally coming up for air from those steamy sex scenes and looking for more.
It's certainly whetted the appetite of viewers who are wondering what they can feast their eyes on next - and we've been reminded of a certain period drama that got hot and heavy.
If that wasn't enough, the lead actor has opened up about just how many sex scenes he had to film in one day - and let's just say we'd be positively exhausted.
We're talking about none other than the Sky period drama Mary & George, that follows the Countess of Buckingham (Julianne Moore) as she urges her son, George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham (Nicholas Galitzine) to seduce and scheme to conquer conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I.

It was released in February 2024 in the UK.
Critics loved it - and it's gained an impressive 95% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Viewers rushed to social media to share their reactions to the x-rated scenes.
One wrote: "Watching Mary & George on a train and there was really no one near me for the past two hours but now a guy's sitting in the row behind me and of course there's an orgy on screen.”

Another said: "I had so much fun watching Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine in Mary & George. Long live the horny period drama.”
A third simply stated: "Well it is very interesting, so much scheming, but I have to warn it’s quite explicit and graphic.”
And now it's emerged that the lead, Galitzine, filmed a hell of a lot of sex scenes in one day.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he shared: "There was one day where we did about four sex scenes in one day.
“I was going from room to room meeting strangers and saying, ‘Hi, I am Nick, nice to meet you. Okay, this is the position we’re going to be in.’”
Yes you read that right. FOUR in ONE DAY.

He continued: "You vicariously live through this man’s sense of power. It’s an incredibly empowering feeling. We had such a wonderful intimacy coordinator, and for the day players who came in for these singular scenes, I hope I made them feel comfortable. But I’m so proud of all that work that we did together.”
Galitzine took to Twitter on 5 March with a cheeky quip following the series starting to stream.
He wrote: "Mary & George would like to formally apologise for breaking social media. Our power is too potent ;)".
No need to apologise, we have zero complaints.
