Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lifted the lid on their last appearance as working royals, which came two months after they'd announced they were stepping back.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their final engagement as working royals five years ago, at the Commonwealth Day Service of Celebration.
In January 2020, the couple revealed their decision to step down from their positions as senior members of the royal family, but made their final appearance just two months following this.

Since then, Meghan has released another Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, where she shares the screen with celebrity guests, sharing her cooking and hosting tips.

In their 2022 docu-series, the couple shocked the world as they gave an exclusive look into what really goes on in the royal family.

Recalling their last engagement, Meghan said: "The first time that we saw the other members of the family was in public at Westminster Abbey."
Harry explained: "We were nervous seeing the family because all the TV cameras and everybody watching at home and everybody watching in the audience.
"It's like living through a soap opera where everybody else views you as entertainment."

Harry and Meghan sat behind William and Kate at the church service, and as they took their seats on the front row, Meghan smiled and waved at them, even saying hello.
But it seems the reality was quite different.
Harry added: "I felt really distant from the rest of my family, which was interesting because so much of how they operate is about what it looks like, rather than what it feels like.
"And it looked cold. But it also felt cold."

At the time of their departure as senior members of the royal family, Queen Elizabeth released a rare and emotional statement regarding her grandson and his family.
She said: "My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family.
"Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family."
