Anyone who watched The A Word will remember Ralph and Katie.
Played by Leon Harrop and Sarah Gordy, the characters were beloved by viewers, so much so that The A Word creator Peter Bowker has given them a show of their very own (aptly named Ralph & Katie) and it’s getting rave reviews.
A lesson in kindness, the show follows Ralph and Katie as they navigate married life as a couple with Down’s syndrome, and viewers have been quick to praise its tenderness, hailing the show as soul-warming TV at its best.
