"I was convinced I would never find what they had, and so I didn’t expect it and didn’t look for it.
"Little did I know, I just needed to find my Matt Kaplan."
For those unfamiliar with Alex and Matt's tear-jerking love story, the duo first came face-to-face (well, almost) back in 2020, when they met on Zoom in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This title which was later inscribed onto one of their two white wedding cakes in romantic red icing, snaps of which were also posted online.
Within three years, the couple had fallen head over heels, shacked up together, and last year, they broke the exciting news that Matt had popped the question.

Giving Vogue an insight into their big day, Alex said of the intimate beachside ceremony: "It was everything we wanted it to be. It was emotional, heartfelt, and we tailored it to exactly how we always envisioned it."
She continued: "We wanted to choose a destination that was private, romantic, and felt like a vacation for not only us but all of our guests.
"It was really important to us to keep the guest list small so we could be present with each other and the people who we love the most and who have helped us become who we are today."
A-dorable!
