
Ellen DeGeneres has made moves to distance herself from the US even more after she swapped out life across the pond for the Cotswolds with her wife last year.
The former chat show host pledged to flee America if Donald Trump was re-elected president of the US, and the star stuck to her word.
Late last year, Ellen and Portia de Rossi made the enormous move to the Cotswolds in the south of England, where they reportedly purchased an $18 million farmhouse, a source said.

Having already listed their six-bathroom California property for $29.9 million in January, the couple have seemingly decided to cut further ties with their homeland.

On 10 March, PEOPLE reports the pair listed their two-bedroom bungalow, also located in Montecito, California, for a whopping $4,995,000.
And less than two weeks later, the luxury property sold for $5.2 million.

A rep for Riskin Partners Estate Group said they had 'multiple offers within two days of hitting the market.'
The property boasts 'a sound fence ensures privacy and serenity, while the spacious backyard offers room for a pool or guest house all within moments of the beach, Coral Casino, and Lower Village'.
But their move to the English countryside has not been smooth sailing.

Ellen and Portia have unfortunately got a taste of real British weather, having woken up to their property surrounded by floodwater after torrential rain, according to MailOnline.
On 20 March, Ellen and Portia celebrated their 20 year anniversary, as the 67-year-old star noted she was: "Happy to be with you everywhere and always."
Documenting the milestone on her Instagram, she said: "20 years ago today, we began this relationship not realising what a long beautiful adventure this would be.
"You take care of me. You help me see the good in everything. You help to guide me and pick me up when I feel off or down.

"You are a beautiful soul that I am so very grateful to have as a partner to navigate this crazy life with."
The pair have shared insights into their new life in England on social media, as they formerly posted about teaching their dogs not to eat the chickens.
