I'm sure many of us have been buzzing to binge-watch the third season of Bridgeton since it dropped on Thursday (16 May), but it's clear it's not the only period drama fans are obsessing over right now.
Viewers are now demanding a second series of the 'greatest show ever' that’s been dubbed better than the beloved Regency era TV series which stole our hearts when it first hit Netflix in 2020.
The eight-part series first hit our screens late last year and is based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Edith Wharton, set in the 1870s, around the time Wharton was a young girl.

The plot follows the lives of a group of young, wealthy and 'fun-loving' American women who have been sent into the 'tightly-corseted' London high society to secure husbands and titles, kicking off quite the Anglo-American culture clash - dealing with differing approaches to tradition, friendship, and - of course - love.
The series stars the likes of Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, and Imogen Waterhouse.
Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Guy Remmers, Mia Threapleton, and Christina Hendricks also star.
