Love Island Fans Lose It As Davide Tries To Describe Gemma

Love Island dropped the most drama-filled episode of the season last night, and one scene in particular has caused fans to lose it. 

When Davide, 27, attempts to describe his 19-year-old partner Gemma in three words, the Italian businessman struggles… a lot. Watch below:

The awkward exchange did not go unnoticed by fans.

One wrote on Twitter: “I’m sorry the silence was so loud when davidE was thinking of three words to describe gemma [sic].”

A second added: “Davide struggling to say 3 words that describe Gemma.”

Another wrote: “Catching up and naaaa not me thinking I'd accidentally paused when Gemma asked Davide 3 words to describe her...

“THE SILENCE [sic].”

One user added: “Cackling at Davide trying to think of three words to describe Gemma.”

Another commented: “I thought my laptop was glitching when Davide was thinking of three words to describe Gemma,” while one observed: “Hahaha Davide’s silence when Gemma asked him to describe her in 3 words was extremely deafening . I’m too embarrassed for that babe [sic].”

The awkward exchange came in an episode that saw Gemma’s pairing with Davide threatened by new bombshell Ekin-Su. 

She said she's 'not in the villa to make friends' and immediately began making moves on the Italian.

The actress, 27, described Gemma’s relationship with Davide as ‘dry’, which may well be reflected by his inability to describe the international dressage rider. 

Reacting to the comment, one fan wrote: “Okay but EkinSu spilled when she said the Davide and Gemma pairing is dry [sic].”

A second added: “Ekin-Su calling Davide and Gemma “dry” speaking for us all [sic].”

Ekin-Su has spiced things up in the villa to the point where some are comparing her to the iconic former contestant Maura Higgins. 

One fan wrote: “Not ekin su blowing kisses. She’s gonna be giving similar energy to maura who was on Tommy like a SHADOW. IM HERE FOR IT [sic].”

Another fan added: “Ekin-Su rattling Gemma by flirting with Davide then calling her, ‘her little sister’ is the type of content I’m here for! [sic]”

Ekin-Su has also set her sights on Davide, with fellow new arrival Afia telling the actress that 'a 19-year-old girl isn't your competition'. 

Fans of the show also wanted to see the new bombshell ‘steal’ Davide, with some asserting that the two 27-year-olds are a better match.

One wrote: “Akin-su is more age appropriate for davido so gemma let him go [sic].”
