It won't be long before You season 4 drops on our TV screens, and Netflix has finally released a first look at the upcoming instalment.
In the newly-released images, fans get a glimpse into British actress Charlotte Ritchie's new character — and it seems she may end up taking on a familiar role.
The Fresh Meat star plays Kate, an art gallery director who is dating Malcolm. Kate is smart, independent, protective and extremely loyal. And when Malcolm invites Joe — who has rebranded himself as Professor Jonathan Moore — into their lives, Kate is immediately skeptical of him, suspecting he is not all that he seems.

But do things change between Kate and Joe? In one photo released by Netflix, the pair seem to be getting very close indeed - but what does it all mean?
Charlotte recently spoke about her character in the upcoming season, explaining her relationship with main character Joe (played by Penn Badgley).
"I'm finishing the Netflix show about a serial killer, You. We've been doing series 4 and I'm part of the new cast," she told Metro.
"The show became huge in lockdown but I didn't watch it. I watched the beginning of the first episode but I found him too creepy. The real guy [Badgley] is a nice guy."

Meanwhile, discussing the photo, she explained to Digital Spy: "I don't know how much I can say about whether I'm the object of his affection or not.
"They're not into each other. It's not like a sort of... that's quite a later development in their story. But she's basically extremely suspicious of him and really doesn't like him at the beginning. It is a bit like she can sort of see through him, which was great to play because he's such a horrible person. Even though Penn is the loveliest person!"
Following the photo, fans of the show believe Charlotte could end up playing a pretty familiar character to the one she played in Fresh Meat, in which her character Oregon ends up having an affair with her lecturer Tony Shales.

One person wrote on Twitter: "She does have experience of sleeping with teachers tbh."
In the new series, Joe is living ‘across the pond’ where he vows to give up ‘unrequited love and longing’ and focus on academia.
However, in true Joe style, it seems there could be some new love interests as well a return of Marienne.
