Emily Osment has this week joined the list of shortest celebrity marriages, settling her divorce from husband Jack Anthony after a mere five months as husband and wife.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the former Hannah Montana actress filed an appeal for an official, legal split on Friday (7 March), with a settlement having been reached the following Monday.
I guess things move a hell of a lot quicker in Hollywood?

For those out of the loop, 33-year-old Osment wed singer/songwriter/composer Anthony, 42, in October of last year, after keeping their relationship predominantly under wraps for several years prior.
In fact, fans of the couple had no idea they'd even tied the knot until ex-child star Osment confirmed that she was now a married woman during an appearance on CBS Mornings weeks later.
"It's great so far," she told host Gayle King for the Halloween special. "These past four days have been glorious."

She gave a tad more detail on the duo's private ceremony whilst chatting to TV presenter Drew Barrymore in the days that followed, revealing that her older brother - The Sixth Sense actor Haley Joel Osment - was one of Anthony's groomsmen.
"It was really cute," Osment continued of her sibling. "I loved being able to sort of have him support me in that way, to support both of us in that way. He just nailed it."
"I've only been a wife for four days, by the way," the former Disney star added. "It's really fresh so I'm a little, I might cry...

"We worked really hard on, on putting this 'party' together, I mean, it was a wedding, but we brought all the elements that we love so much about each other and her friends and her family together.
"And so it really felt like a party which was the best."
Sadly, however, her joy wasn't to last, and according to the latest documents, the pair officially called time on their romance on 7 December - less than two months after saying 'I do'.
TMZ has since reported that Osment cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for her unexpected split from Anthony.

"I think with any big decision in your life, whether it's relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision," she told TMZ. "Ultimately, it didn't work out."
Osment also gave up rights to seek spousal support, with her and Anthony - who did not share any children - having both signed a confidential marriage settlement agreement. They'd also signed a prenuptial agreement ahead of tying the knot.
Approval for the actress' request is still to be confirmed.

The now-estranged couple first met at a concert, getting engaged in June 2023 after Anthony popped the all-important question during a day out at Yosemite National Park.
"This magical, beautiful, kaleidoscope of a person asked me to marry him this weekend," Osment subsequently wrote on Instagram, sharing the news.
"I did not know life could be this sweet or I could ever be this deliriously happy.
"I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years."
