"What was that Rebel Wilson pre weight loss photo about? So weird" tweeted one viewer.
"I'm happy for Rebel Wilson and everyone else who has managed to lose weight and/or become more comfortable in their own skin...but it feels really icky the way people treat weight loss like the most heroic thing a big person can do" commented another.
Elsewhere in the ceremony, Rebel had viewers cringing in their seats when she made an 'awkward' joke about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

On the night, Will Smith won the BAFTA for Best Film Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams in the critically acclaimed biopic King Richard.
Although the actor wasn't there on the night to collect his award, it didn't stop Rebel from cracking a shocking joke at his expense.
The actress went all in with a cheeky comment on the Smiths’ relationship following the news they have an open marriage.
People who tuned in for the prestigious awards ceremony had a rather mixed response to the dig.
